This event celebrates International Men’s Day through a panel discussion exploring the pandemic, work-life balance and all things men.
The pandemic has changed all of our lives significantly since January 2020.
There are new ways of working in the workplace and personal/family life has changed considerably.
Ways of interacting have shifted to digital and hybrid working is becoming a reality for many people across Ireland.
The priorities for men are changing in society and this event explores wellness in the workplace through the importance of men’s health.
The MC for the event is renowned RTE producer, podcast presenter and MC Taragh Loughrey-Grant, M.A.

Taragh Loughrey-Grant has been working as a journalist for over 20 years with many of Ireland's key media outlets and is currently a producer with RTÉ Radio 1, The Ryan Tubridy Show.
Prior to that, she was a producer with Radio 1's Liveline programme for two years. Previously she worked as an online Digital Editor on RTÉ's website (rte.ie) in the LifeStyle section.
She has presented and/or co-produced a number of podcast series for RTÉ and a radio documentary for Documentary on One. She has facilitated, hosted and MC’d panels at numerous events including Dublin Tech Summit, Thrive and MoJoCon.
She has lectured in DCU to Journalism students in the areas of MoJo and reporting. She has worked as a contributor, broadcaster, researcher, producer and presenter across Radio (RTÉ Radio 1, 2fm, FM
Kathrina was appointed CEO of Men’s Aid in January 2020, so just shy of two years in her role representing the voice of men and families.
She has extensive experience in the voluntary sector and in recent years working to promote the interests of Men at a national level. Men’s Aid supports 25 to 30 men each day through their helpline, outreach, court support and counselling services.
They expect to support approx. 8,000 men and their families this year. The service has experienced a 32% increase on 2020.
Finian is a Men’s Health Senior Promotion Officer with the HSE. He leads on the implementation of Healthy Ireland – Men (National Men’s Health Action Plan 2017 – 2021).
Finian also co-ordinates and delivers Engage - National Men’s Health Training Programme.
He previously worked as Project Leader with HSE Social Care and as Community Development Officer with the Irish Wheelchair Association.
Peter is a Programme Director and also Marketing Director of Ireland Chapter of PMI.
He has over 20 year’s experience delivering complex change programmes across Ireland and the UK working with companies such as PwC, Microsoft and Deloitte.
Peter is chair of Straight Talking, a leading parenthood charity in the UK, having been on the board since 2009.
He is also on the board of Men’s Aid Ireland.
