These activities and concepts will be presented to help expand the knowledge and skills that can be applied to help deliver a successful result.

In this webinar, - Agile expert Jon Ward will outline the symptoms of Fake Agile - no plans, no control, no predictability.

Jon will provide an overview of what real agile looks like; providing a model and a checklist for participants.

We will discuss the impacts of Scrum and Kanban on a Project Manager and how the agile roles alter the traditional project manager remit.

Lastly, Jon will discuss how agile teams use metrics and outline how a Project Manager should use this information.

Following this webinar, you should:

  1. Be able to assess if a team is truly using agile
  2. Understand how the agile roles impact the traditional remit of the project manager
  3. Be aware of the metrics used in agile to plan and control activities
  4. Understand that agile is more than daily stand-ups

Jon Ward is writing his second book, which looks at the role of the Agile Project Manager.  This webinar contains extracts from the book. However, Jon is looking for further input for the book from project manager practitioners based on questions they have or the challenges they face with agile activities.

  • A good laugh not only reduces tension and relieves stress, but also helps to increase team bonding and boost morale

When you’re happy, you are more productive, more creative, more open, more likeable and a better leader. So, let’s all smile a little more and enjoy the amazing world of projects.
