This is the first joint IMCA - PMI member CPD event with two components delivered by UCD MSc in Project Management program faculty, as follows: ‘Is your Risk Register fit for Purpose’, IMCA member Joe Houghton, Director, UCD MSc in Project Management programme will discuss the ‘standard’ risk management process that most firms use and highlight a potentially more useful template that he has developed over 10 years of work in academia and consulting. This will be followed by Robert Manning, UCD MSc in Project Management programme faculty who will present on ‘A seasoned PM practitioner’s perspective on PM academic studies’ Robert will discuss the benefits of adopting an academically enlightened perspective on PM practice. The venue is room E201 in the Smurfit campus will open with at 6pm with a 30-minute networking opportunity with refreshments.
